According to an article Medscape.com, the American Dietetic Association recommends that men have 15-18% body fat and women 20-25% body fat. Healthy male athletes can be as low as 5.12% of body fat, the healthy athletes as low as 10-20%.

The woman should never be less than 10% body fat.

For a woman, see the ABS, you should probably be around 15% -17% and men should be about 8% -10%.
